Let’s make today heart shelf sitter . I have a bit of foam clay left from my Christmas projects and lots of molds. Love to put my silicone molds into this heart project.Let’s experiment some with my clay in this diy. My goal was to create not only for Valentines day evergreen heart shelf sitter.

Let’s make wooden heart shelf sitter
Just because I love flowers I decided to have fun with my leftover foam clay and my flower molds. I have never used foam clay on them yet so it was time to experiment a bit. Just to be save decided to cover my mold slightly with baking soda to prevent sticking . Filled half of my big flower with it and gently pulled it off .. To my surprise all worked beautifly
As you can see it my foam clay was brown so I decided to paint all with chalk paint and again all was covering beautifully
At this point I decided to use hot glue and attach my half flower to my thick self standing wood heart. Loved how all looked! Obviously I decided to paint entire heart white and go from there
started to approach this heart diy slow. My original thought was to just paint it all white and add some cream, gold highlights… but this new acrylic paint was calling me so decided to go for it. Glad I had white background so my gorgeous red was really looking good. Loved how all started to mix and add its own shading
As I was adding some brown shades to the center of my flower on a heart I just thought that I need to make my petals a bit bigger . I was ready to paint but then spotted more clay so Decided to press out only petals on my silicone mold
Well it is imaginary flower so I was fine with that. Decided to lift edges of the flower installed on my wooden heart and slide in more petals. Love Love Love love
continued with some more paint and streaks of my liquid gold on some edges and center of my flower. Make sure to watch quick video how all was happening HERE. LOVE ME my clay diy . Perfect Valentine Day heart shelf sitter .
