Vintage Honeycomb Ornament
Let’s make some ornaments! It is one of my favorite ones to make growing up. It was my favorite activity grown up in Eastern Europe. Making our own ornaments .Today I like to make my Mom’s favorite vintage like ornaments. How about making honeycomb ornament out of felt and book pages. Those Christmas ornaments are so easy and addictive to make. Shall we bo to work ?

How to make Honeycomb Christmas Ornament
Let’s get to the bottom of this gorgeous ornament that for sure some of you admired but were afraid to make. As you know there are all different shapes of those . Today I like to make a one shaped as circle.
If you follow me for some time you do know i really dont measure so I decided to outline my saucer on my musical notes or book pages. To make things easier mixing it with felt or other material will help you with pattern.My goal was to have 6 circles of each material.
- fold each in half and let the prep continue
- glue each folded in half circle to its sides leaving inside not glued . Don’t worry there is a video on that below which will for sure help even more
I am using a hot glue but tacky glue is actually better and I would say safer for this project
All is glued and now it is time to work on our honeycomb pattern. Having 2 different materials as you start your honeycomb journey is so much easier. My plan was to glue in the middle on book pages side and glue on the sides of felt . Make sure to watch video to see exactly
To make sure I am satysfied with my spacing I decided to check before I was done to see if my pattern looks good and I love it
All is glued so now we need to open up our pattern by gluing sides together in the way we did halves. In my case i am going to add 2 glue dots to the side to complete my pattern and see finally its beauty.

As you can see to keep its vintage Christmas ornament feel I decided to use some satin ribbon to be my hanger and attached some pearls as a little charm at the bottom
